Comment on Miss Suman Bhanoo photograph

Suman Bhanoo has sent few photographs to me for evaluation/comments I am publishing the photograph and the comment for your benefit too.
Hallo Suman ,
Saw your photographs, they are lovely. Your love of nature reflects in your shots. But I would like to point some minor shortcomings to improve your pics. Your photograph is a good attempt
to capture sunset or sunrise. You have used Nikon L4 compact camera to capture this shots. This is an anti light photograph so you have got no foreground detail. There are some suggestions to improve this type shot next time. If you want to capture colors of sunrise shoot before the sun becomes white in this shot you was slightly late .I can imagine the beautiful foreground details which your camera can not capture, for capturing those shoot just before sunrise and again remember you may need tripod or solid support to avoid camera shake which is inevitable due to slow shutter speed which your camera will automatically select due to low light.
But can you do something to improve this very shot? Yes just crop the lower black part of the shot which have no details .If you have to take photograph in anti light try to include some well outlined object in the foreground to hold attention it can be a tree , a building or a rock. I have recomposed your picture changed its tonal balance and colour saturation in Photoshop
and added a temple in foreground now you can see and compare it with original.
Hope this helps you in taking good shots in future. If any confusion do write me?
One more suggestion please send photograph in small size as they take little time in loading and downloading
