Recently Sri B K Jain of Patna was awarded Ist Prize in All India Completion of Photo Travel organized by Dainik Jagaran in which he got Fuji Finepix 100FS camera. As promised to you, Interview with any photographer was due in my blog , so I thought why not to interview Mr Jain but due to his engagements and my short visit I could not interview him so I just took his Bio-data and few of his best shots for you……………

B. K .Jain was born in 1950 and is commerce graduate. He started his photography at the early age of 15 and today he is Pictorialist, Naturalist and Photo Journalist par excellence. Till now, he has bagged 170 awards and more than 1600 acceptances in National and International Salons of India and abroad. He has judged so many salons of State , National & International standard. His one man show was organized at Munger by IIPC Delhi which inaugurated by Padamshree T. Kashinath and graced by renewed photo artist Sri O.P.Sharma. He has been awarded as Associate of India International Photographic Council in 1994 and the Honor of Artist in Pictorial Monochrome Section by Federation International De –La-Art Photographic, Belgium in 1995. In the year 2006 he was awarded to honors EFIAP & FFIP by Federation of Indian Photography.
His articles and pictures are often published in different dailies like The Indian Nation, Pradeep, Aaj, and Times of India. His two pictures were selected and held at Puskin Museum in Russia in 1987-88. In his long career of Photojournalist he got opportunities to photograph Mr Indira Gandi, Mr Atal Bihari Bajpaee & Mother Teresa.
Barring few periods since 1981, he has been one of the Top ten Exhibitors of India as announced by FIP & IIPC Journals.
In January 2000, a solo exhibition on Nav-Rash displayed at Art college, Patna including Kathak dancer Sitara Devi in different moods.
From the recipient of so many awards and felicitations we can expect many further contribution in the world of photographic creative art. A tireless and an innovative Photographic Pictorial artist cum Journalist Mr Jain feels that he has miles to go…… I wish him every success in his life.
